What We Offer

Six Reasons People Choose Phra Capital

Facilitated by Specialists

Every workshop is led by a facilitator with postgraduate qualifications in economics or adult education and a decade or more of relevant practice. You are working with people who understand the material and know how to teach it.

No Products. Ever.

We do not recommend investment products, insurance products, or banking services. We receive no commissions. This means the advice and guidance in every session serves only the participants' understanding, not a sales target.

Small, Attended Groups

Twelve participants maximum. This is a firm cap, not an aspiration. Smaller groups mean the facilitator can address each person's specific situation and questions, which changes the quality of what participants take away.

Grounded in Thai Context

Market examples draw on Thai and regional history. Family considerations reflect Thai household structures. The content is not imported wholesale from Western financial curricula — it is built for the environment participants actually live in.

Privacy as a Baseline

Personal financial information shared in sessions is treated with care. No participant's details are discussed outside the room. Facilitators sign confidentiality agreements and our data handling follows Thailand's PDPA requirements.

Paced for Comprehension

Sessions move at a pace that allows understanding, not one designed to cover a checklist. If a concept needs more time, it gets more time. Participants are not left behind in the interest of staying on a schedule.

In More Detail

Expertise You Can Follow

Good facilitation in financial education is not the same as knowing the subject. It also involves knowing how to present that subject to people who are encountering it for the first time, or who have encountered it in forms that didn't help them. Our facilitators have both.

Somchai Wattanakul taught financial literacy at university level for fifteen years before turning to adult education. Natcha Prayoonrat brings a background in adult learning and family guidance. Arthit Tangsiri spent a decade reporting on Thai and regional markets before joining the team. These are not generic trainers — they have specific, sustained knowledge in their areas.

What This Means in Practice

  • Questions are answered from knowledge, not referred to an FAQ sheet
  • Examples are adjusted to the actual questions participants raise in the room
  • The facilitator can distinguish between what matters and what can be set aside
  • Participants do not leave with unresolved confusion they felt too uncertain to voice

The Participant Experience

  • Pre-session information about what to bring and what to expect
  • Welcome and introductions at the start of each session
  • Written materials to take home — summaries, guides, or reading lists depending on the programme
  • A follow-up note from the facilitator within one week of completion

A Considered Participant Experience

From enquiry to completion, the Phra Capital experience is designed to feel calm and well-organised. We do not ask participants to navigate confusing registration processes or wade through marketing before they can find basic information.

Each programme comes with clear pre-session guidance, printed materials during the sessions, and a brief follow-up from the facilitator within the week after. We pay attention to the experience because we believe the environment of learning matters to the quality of what is learned.

Transparent, Reasonable Fees

Our fees reflect the cost of qualified facilitation, small group settings, and printed materials — not marketing overhead or institutional margin. The three programmes are priced at 5,350 THB, 8,400 THB, and 11,400 THB respectively.

There are no hidden additions. If you attend as a couple, each person's place is booked separately and transparently. We do not bundle programmes or suggest that you need more than one to benefit from attending. Each programme stands on its own.

What the Fee Covers

  • All sessions in the programme
  • Printed materials and guides
  • Refreshments during sessions
  • Post-session follow-up from the facilitator
  • Use of workshop space and materials

What Sets Us Apart

Things We Do That Are Genuinely Uncommon

Participant-Brought Materials

In the bank statement workshop, participants bring three months of their own statements. The exercise uses real material — anonymised for group work — rather than invented scenarios. This produces a far more useful outcome.

Printed Reflection Guides

Each programme includes a printed document designed for use at home after the sessions. These are not marketing materials. They are working guides — prompts, frameworks, and reading lists that extend the usefulness of the workshop over time.

Family Conversation Facilitation

No other provider in Bangkok offers a programme specifically on the money conversations within Thai families at midlife — the conversations about supporting elderly parents, younger relatives, and one's own later years. We built this programme because participants told us they needed it.

Market Commentary Reading Skills

Rather than teaching participants what to think about markets, we teach them how to read market commentary critically — so that news cycles and financial media have less power to disturb their personal planning.
